HOW DO YOU DEVELOP YOUR PRODUCTS?
From conception to finished product, all our kits are carefully crafted and developed with some of the most energetic educators, engineers, artists, and designers you will ever meet. Collaboration and curation with industry experts is also a key phase in product development. After our in-house panel of professionals has pored over the content, everything that is included in a kit must then make it through an evaluation by our toughest critics: kids. They take product testing to a whole new level! We incorporate their feedback to ensure every kit is interactive and exciting from beginning to end. Our kits are also highly educational (but we won’t tell them if you won’t!)

HOW DOES THE CURRICULUM SUPPORT ELA?
Our curriculum is student-centered and requires them to obtain information through reading for understanding. In many of our products, we provide reading comprehension passages prior to each activity which focus on the scientific background for the experiment, real-world connections, and ways to take the learning further.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED AGE RANGE FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?
We offer a variety of product lines for students for grades preschool through college. The experiments and hands-on activities have been carefully curated and thoughtfully designed to fit a variety of learning styles for each age/grade level. We strive to make our products highly engaging and challenging without causing learners to become frustrated. We put suggested grade levels or grade level clusters for every product line. IS INTERNET ACCESS REQUIRED TO USE YOUR PRODUCTS?
Absolutely not! Our products come with full-color Instructions and all the equipment, supplies, and materials to complete all the activities and experiments. Some products contain additional online resources, such as videos and digital guides, which are accessible by using a mobile device such as a cell phone, tablet, or computer. However, access to these online resources is designed to enhance the experience and is not required to be able to use and enjoy the product.

DO I NEED TO DO THE ACTIVITIES WITH MY CHILD?
With all our products, we encourage grown-ups to volunteer their services as trusty lab assistants. Depending on the age and ability level of the learner, parents can determine which activities are done together or may be completed independently. We do recommend a grown-up always be present when children in grades K-6 are participating in experiments and activities.

CAN STUDENTS SHARE KITS?
For best hands-on learning, we recommend each student has his or her own kit. Some of our product lines may be implemented by having students work in groups of up to four students using one kit. Each student in the group should be assigned a role in the experiment. For example, one student could be responsible for setting up the experiment, another could be responsible for documenting the results, etc.

WHAT ITEMS ARE INCLUDED IN A KIT?
Each kit is as unique as the student, so the exact items in each kit depend on which kit you choose! Rest assured; you will receive everything needed for an incredible learning experience! Each one will always include specialized supplies and materials to conduct all experiments and activities, full-color instructions, and any needed safety equipment. There are a few things that we can’t include because they’re things that you probably have at home (like water).

HMMM… MY EXPERIMENTS AREN’T WORKING. WHAT DO I DO?

HOW SAFE ARE THE ACTIVITIES?
Safety is one of our top priorities. All our activities are designed with safety in mind, and we may recommend additional safety procedures and protocols for certain activities as needed. We do recommend that all activities and experiments are always conducted under adult supervision. ALLERGY WARNING: Some of our kits contain food, please read our policy on FAQ on food allergies if this is a concern for you.

DO PRODUCTS ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES? When food items are given, the ingredients of item are sometimes listed on the package of the food item or in the instructions. Unfortunately, we are not able to substitute items in individual kits. If food allergies are a concern, please use caution when conducting experiments that involve food items. Please be aware that some food products may be manufactured in a facility that also handles common allergens such as wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, eggs, milk, fish, and shellfish.

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ASSEMBLED? All Central Creativity products are assembled in the United States.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN TO ADDRESS COVID-19?
At Central Creativity, our number one priority is the health and safety every family we serve. We want to assure you that due to the changing nature of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are closely monitoring and updating how we should adjust our business operations daily based on guidance from national, state, and local authorities. All our boxes are packed at our facility in the United States by our employees. We are following all CDC measures and guidance on how to adjust our business operations and are closely working with all employees through several measures, including: encouraging all employees to report any symptoms of illness of any kind, so they do not report to work, training for all employees on respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene, and performing extensive environmental cleanings throughout our entire facility.
