If your child wants to be the next Master Chef, he or she needs to enroll in this Culinary Arts Class! We will show students how to start with raw ingredients and mix, knead, or whisk their way to a healthy, delicious dish. Learning basic cooking techniques and terms is a piece of cake for students when they are doing all the hands-on activity in the kitchen. By using easy to follow recipes with wholesome ingredients, we allow kids to begin to get creative with their cooking. We mix in learning mouthwatering math when students measure, half, or double a recipe. They stir in scrumptious science as they combine, dissolve, and mix. Reading skills are reinforced when our sous chefs study recipes to plan and prepare dishes. Add in a few Mystery Ingredient Challenges and we think we have the perfect recipe for learning!
