Our students think on their feet. Literally.
Did you know that when children are talking and moving, they are activating their brains to learn? However, in many formal educational settings, the student sits and the teacher talks. Our brains are wired to make the neurological connections necessary to retain information when we are engaged, motivated learners. Unfortunately, many students are expected to acquire knowledge in an environment that does not support active learning. In our classes, we reinforce academic content through kinesthetic, visual, and other sensory-rich activities that get students enthusiastic about the learning process. We think that deserves a standing ovation.
